Toronto Parks, Forestry and Recreation Division - Toronto Parks, Forestry and Recreation Division department is responsible for city owned parks, forests and recreation centres. It was created from the merger of parks, culture and recreation departments from the former municipalities of Metro Toronto and Metro Toronto departments in April 2005.
